Bernstein instantly captures your attention with his three high-quality basic paces, excellent type, and outstanding temperament. He is a model athlete with an excellent neck conformation, great shoulder freedom, a strong back and a lot of power. The outstanding trot and canter work is always uphill and his clear four-beat walk offers excellent ground cover. Combined with his exciting pedigree that is rooted in an exceptional damline. Bernstein completed the Danish Warmblood 35-Day Stallion Performance Test, earning multiple scores of 8.0 and a score of 8.5 for capacity from his guest rider.
Bernstein’s sire Bonds was named Oldenburg Champion Stallion in 2015 and earned impressive scores of 9.12 and 9.28 at his sport tests in 2017 and 2018. Bonds currently competes at advanced level and has 18 licensed sons to his credit. Grandsire Benicio, was winner of the Bundeschampionat, earned an unprecented 9.88 in dressage at this stallion test, and developed into an accomplished FEI horse. He is highly regarded as a sire with 32 licensed stallions and is highly ranked on both the German FN and Hanoverian Verband Dressage Sire Ranking lists.
Bernstein’s dam Sunshine M is by the influential stallion Quaterback. Quaterback has numerous offspring competing internationally at Grand Prix, including Hilltop Farm’s Qredit, and he is currently ranked #4 in the world on the WBFSH Dressage Sire Rankings. Sunshine M’s damline is the exceptional Elfenblume line from Germany. From this line brings Alice Tarjan's Grand Prix Elite mare Elfenfeuer now breeding at Hilltop Farm and 9 licensed sons.

Fiona CBF pedigree combines Dutch with some of the best German lines. Her pedigree boasts the coveted and rare G-line along with the highly successful R-line.She is a big, powerful mare with an excellent mind and character. She has three correct gaits with a strong and active hindleg. She has a clear, four beat walk with good freedom in the shoulder. Her trot is lofty and ground covering and her canter has a good bounding stride. Fiona is a proven producer of quality offspring. Her babies are known for their excellent temperaments, intelligence, high trainability, and quality gaits.
Fiona’s sire, Royal Prince has had a profound impact on North American breeding. For five consecutive years, Royal Prince was named the USEF Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year and has sired licensed stallions and many Premium/Elite mares. Royal Prince was Reserve Champion at his Stallion Performance Tests, earning 10’s for rideability and walk, and 9’s for trot, canter, and willingness to work. He twice represented the US at the FEI World Championships for Young Horses, including a 4th place finish in 2004, and competed through Prix St. Georges. His sire, Rohdiamant, was a highly successful Grand Prix dressage competitor who was short-listed for the U.S. Olympic Team with Lisa Wilcox. Grandsire Rubinstein I also competed at the Grand Prix Level and has had a legendary influence on sport horse breeding around the world. Royal Prince’s dam, Piri Piri, is by the influential Thoroughbred stallion Prince Thatch xx.
Fiona’s dam, Verille, is by Ijsselmeer who proved himself to be a consistent, lifelong champion in the show ring. Undefeated at sport horse breed shows as a yearling and 2 year old, he was also the #1 yearling and 2 year old at the North American KWPN Keurings. In 1995 he garnered an enviable "A" rating at his stallion licensing, receiving 7.5 - 8.5 for gaits, 8 for jumping, 9 for dressage ability, and 9.5 for character. The jury's confidence in his dressage talent has been confirmed by his outstanding performance record from First Level through Grand Prix: he has been a USDF and/or California Dressage Society champion or reserve champion at every level. Verille’s dam was by Grundstein, who was Germany's leading sire in both jumping and dressage, with a German FN Dressage Index of 178 and a Jumping Index of 142 (1995).
